We are looking for an outstanding person to join the Hydronics Technical Sales Team. This role will work closely with the members of the small, existing Hydronics Technical Sales team as well as with all sales and project management professionals in the company to expand sales of pumps and accessories in Western Canada. To be effective in this role, the candidate must have a proactive approach, an ability to learn quickly and the drive and capacity to build relationships with internal and external colleagues. The candidate must have a strong interest in technical matters and ideally, has sound technical knowledge about pumps and accessories related to HVAC systems. The candidate must have a strong desire to build a lasting career in a commission-based, team-oriented, technical sales environment.
For motivated, skilled and self-aware candidates, Olympic International Sales Ltd. offers a unique environment within which to learn, grow and build a successful, long-term career in technical sales. With a passion for customer service, the candidate must be an energetic, focused self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team. The person must possess the proven ability to work with minimal direction and a high value for building long-term relationships. The candidate must have completed a degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology. Preferably, the candidate has had at 2 years of experience in the design or selling of technical products, ideally in the design and selling of pumps and accessories. Highly organized, with exceptional listening, problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills, the candidate must have a strong ability to realize results with integrity and respect for the interests of colleagues, clients and suppliers.
